Are you married to a "Weather Nerd?"

The Enchanted Mitten was engulfed in its first winter snow storm of the season yesterday. The local meteorologists were using several weather computer models to try to predict the length and severity of the storm. Deirdre was beside her self most of the day, frequently telling me to change the channel of the TV whenever there was a commercial interruption in the broadcast of the Army-Navy game. Dee would listen intently to the "talking head" on the Weather Channel and then would either nod in agreement or say, "There is no way we are going to get that much snow. This is a wintery mix, there will not be much accumulation." At one point, she looked at me and said, "I am going to go downstairs to do some ironing... and watch the Weather Channel."

I suppose of all the vices one could have, being a weather nerd is a fairly benign one!
